ATTENTION MORAN SCHOOL 4^th GRADERS

      Osceola Bluegrass Festival        

KING - QUEEN CONTEST

QUALIFICATIONS:

          ·        Currently attend Moran Elementary School as a 4^th Grader.

·        Write and submit to your teacher an essay entitled: “What Osceola Means to Me” on or before the last day of school.

·        Plan on attending Moran Elementary as a 5^th Grader.

·        Provide a “Good Citizen” recommendation from a Moran School employee.

·        Commit to attend the Osceola Bluegrass Festival for the opening ceremony on Saturday morning, and be available for recognition at various times both Saturday and Sunday.  The Bluegrass Festival is always the third weekend of August.

Royal Duties of King and Queen:

 ·        King and Queen will reign over the Festival and will enjoy a multitude of food and prizes from Festival Food, Venders and Local Businesses.

·        Attend an Osceola Town Council meeting for recognition.

·        King and Queen will be recognized at a Moran School 5^th Grade awards Ceremony during the school year.

·        Ride the Fire Truck with Santa for the Osceola Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.

·        Ride a Float in the Memorial Day Parade.

·       Help Crown next years Bluegrass Festival King and Queen.
